On August 26th Brian Harris was shot and killed in the line of duty leaving behind a wife and daughters.
A lovescape gate has been donated to the Kane County Sheriff’s Department in honor of fallen Deputy Brian Harris. The memorial gate was placed by the Kane County Sheriff’s Department along with other fellow local law enforcement agencies on Saturday September 18, 2010.
As it stands, the memorial is only half complete.
The other half of the memorial will be created by the community of supporters, with their message engraved on the Brian Harris lock. These locks will be attached to the memorial
Brian’s memorial gate will be dedicated on October 9th at 10:00am in Kanab.
You as a supporter, will have the opportunity to attach a Memorial lock to the gate. There will be engraving stations at the site where you will be able to engrave your personal message to Brian, before permanently attach your lock to the memorial.
